GOD LOVES US AND SENT US HIS SON (JESUS)

Iloveu

THAT'S THE GOOD NEWS

Gospel

God loves you!  He wants you to have a happy life.  He wants you to live in His heaven forever.  Do you want to learn how you can live in heaven with God forever?

Let's continue reading.  You can learn for sure all about going to heaven.

THE BIBLE TELLS YOU ABOUT GOD

God says in His Bible, "I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God (Jesus is God's Son).  Now you can know you have life that last forever" (1 John 5:13).

Bible

GOD HAS A SPECIAL PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE

God loves you so much.  He made a special plan for your life.   He made a way for you to go to heaven when you die.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son [Jesus].   Whoever puts his trust in God's Son will not be lost be will have life that lasts forever [live forever with God]" (John 3:16).

Know that

THERE'S MORE

You can now enjoy God's special plan of life forever!  Jesus, God's Son, said: "I came so they might have life, a great full life [that means the best life possible here on earth]"
(John 10:10)

Then, in heaven, you can continue living the best life.  Jesus said, "After I go and make a place for you, I will come back and take you with Me.   Then you many be where I am"
(John 14:3).

Wonderful

God's special plan is like a road for you to travel through your life.  His plan will take you to His heaven.   You can miss that road to heaven by choosing the wrong way.  The Bible calls choosing the wrong way sin.

Road

BECAUSE OF YOUR SIN, YOU NEED JESUS HELP

The Bible tells us, "For all men have sinned and have missed the sining greatness of God" (Romans 3:23).

When you do not let Jesus control your life, you choose the wrong way.  This is why people:

  • steal
  • lie
  • gossip
  • do sex sins
  • are not king

All people choose the wrong way.  Everyone has don some of these things.

Have you ever sinned?

SIN

If you choose  not to follow God's plan, you can never live with Jesus in heaven.   You will go to hell.  Hell is a real place.  Hell is a place where the devil and people who do not follow Jesus must suffer forever.

GOD LOVES YOU SO MUCH.

Heaven

HERE IS GOD'S PLAN

Jesus died on a cross to pay the price for your sins.

"Christ [Jesus] suffered and died for sins once for all...He died so He might bring us to God" (1 Peter 3:18).

Has anyone else accepted the blame for you when you did something wrong?   That's what Jesus did.

JESUS ACCEPTED YOUR BLAME.

Cross

JESUS WAS RAISED FROM THE DEAD

If Jesus continued dead in the grave, He could not help you.  So God made Jesus live again.  The Bible says, "Christ was buried.  He was raised from the dead three days later" (1 Corinthians 15:4).  That means Jesus is alive today.  That's part of God's special plan.  God put all our sins on His Son, Jesus.  Because Jesus is alive, He can be your Savior and Lord.

JESUS

DO YOU WANT JESUS TO BE YOUR SAVIOR AND LORD

If your answer is yes, there are some things you must do:

  1. You must decide you don't want to continue to sin.  This is called repentance.  It means to turn away from sin.

The Bible says, "But you must be sorry for your sins and turn from them.  You must turn to God and have your sins taken away" (Acts 3:19).
  2. You must believe what the Bible says.  Jesus died on the cross.   He took the blame for your sins.  He took away your guilt (feeling about wrong things you have done).  He rose from the dead.  When you believe what God says in His Word, it is called FAITH.
    FAITH

The Bible says, "For by His loving-favor [kindness] you have been saved from the punishment of sin [accepted God's special plan] through faith [believing in Jesus].   It is not by anything you have done.  It is a gift of God.  It is not given to you because you worked for it.  If you could work for it, you would be proud" (Ephesians 2:8-9).
  3. Ask Jesus to control your life.  Let Him be the boss of your life.

Thank you

The Bible says, "If you say with your mouth [hands] that Jesus is Lord [boss of your life] and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved from the punishment of sin [you can have the best life possible on earth and be with God forever in heaven]" (Romans 10:9).

THREE IMPORTANT QUESTIONS

  1. Do you understand God's special plan for your life?
  2. Will you turn away from your sin and let Jesus take control of your life?
  3. If yes, will you talk to God right now?  Tell Him you want Jesus to be your Savior and best friend.

HERE'S HOW

Tell God that:

  • You believe Jesus died on the cross and rose from the dead so you can be saved and live forever with God.
  • You want Jesus to control your life.

Do you want to do that?

If you answer is yes, here's the kind of prayer you should pray.

Prayer:

Dear God, I know that I have sinned.  I need You to forgive me.  I know that Your Son Jesus died on the cross for my sins.  I believe He rose from the dead.   I want to turn from my sins. I want to let Jesus control my life.  Please forgive my sins so I can receive Jesus. Thank You for hearing me and coming into my life.   In Jesus' name.  Amen.

Do you want to talk to God in your own words (or signs)?  Or do you want to pray the prayer you just read?  Either way you choose, be sure to mean it with all your heart.  Jesus will become your Savior and Lord.  You can talk to God now.

Did you mean what you just prayed?  If you did, God made a place for you in heaven forever. Now you can live forever according to God's special plan for your life.

NOW YOU CAN BE SURE you will go to heaven when you die.  The Bible says, "This is the word He spoke:  God gave us life that lasts forever, and this life is in His Son.  He that has the Son has life.  He that does not have the Son of God [Jesus] does not have life.  I have written these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God.  Now you can know you have life that last forever" (1 John 5:11-13).

Now you have received God's special plan of eternal life by becoming a Christian (a person who follows Jesus Christ).

Now you should grow in your new life.

GROW

TO GROW, YOU MUST OBEY JESUS

"If you love me, you will do what I say" (John 14:15).

To obey Jesus, you must:

  • Be baptized (going under the water) (Matthew 28:19)
  • Worship (go to church) with other Christians (Hebrews 10:25)
  • Read and study your Bible (2 Timothy 2:15)
  • Pray (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
  • Tell your friends about Jesus (Acts 1:8).

Talk to your pastor soon about being baptized and becoming a church member.  Start praying, studying the Bible, and talking about Jesus today.
